Our client for this project was a multi-national company with a chemical facility in Fiji. They came to us to address their trade waste aspects, as they had been operating without a fit-for-purpose system in place.
First, we assisted in designing and recommending the most suitable secondary contained pipe to handle the transfer of caustic products. Working remotely at this stage, we needed to rely on strong communications and third party information to ensure our solution would meet the client’s requirements.
Once design was complete, we sent a team of technicians to Fiji to install the pipe work and associated fittings. There they worked with a local team to dig the trench system and complete the installation of pipework and sumps.
Our team’s careful pre-planning enabled the project to be completed on time, safely and within budget.
